  DESCRIPTION :Copra is the endosperm of the coconut with the husk and shell removed. It consists of the white and fleshy edible part of the seed with an outer brown skin which is split into two parts and then dried to specified moisture levels. Copra can be simply sun dried or dried using special copra kilns or dryers and is available in the following forms:

  Use : Edible Copra is usually a perfect, well dried half cup of the coconut kernel and is used in various food preparations  as well as a tasty nut.  
 
Milling Copra consists of non-uniform dried pieces of coconut which are used mainly for the manufacture of coconut oil.
       
  Copra Expeller Cake (Coconut Oil Cake)    
  This is a by-product of the Coconut Oil manufacturing process, i.e., the residue left after the partial or complete removal of oil from Copra.    
  It is a valuable Animal Feed Ingredient considered to have a high Fiber & Protein by-pass value and found to be extremely palatable amongst cattle.
