Adamjee's are proud of their heritage for over a century as a prominent business house in Sri Lanka. Today the company is the largest exporter of Coconut Kernel products with a turn over exceeding Rs. 1 billion. and has achieved this with only an employee strength of 100.

The company has built a very strong association (out grower systems) with domestic suppliers and today well established in its core-business of procuring, processing coconut products/spices and exports of it.

The business premises houses an office premise and warehouse complex of approximately 50,000 sq.ft and manufacturing facility for expelling of Coconut oil.

The oil mill with a capacity of 50 MT per day is predominantly crushing the Island's best quality milling copra to produce an edible quality "White Coconut Oil", which is an oil with unique fragrance of natural pure Coconut oil. It does not undergo any further chemical or physical refining.

It is exported under the brand Double Palm Brand which is renowned in the market where it has a long term presence. The oil is used as a cosmetic oil for hair and skin application as well as an edible cooking oil. It can be categorized as a virgin oil (Pure Virgin Coconut Oil).

Taking advantage of Colombo fast becoming a major hub Port of Asia, Adamjee's, today, has grown to become an Entrepot Trader of Coconut Products and Spices of all regions to its Buyers worldwide. Trading in items such as Black Pepper, Desiccated Coconut, and Copra from all regions besides Sri Lanka. Thus being in a position to give our customers better value and to service their needs.

Domestic Performance

For many years the company was an importer and distributor of cement and now, markets its own brand "SAVIYA" island wide. The cement carries the quality certification of the SLS standard. The company has an extensive distribution network reaching island wide and provides logistical support to its dealers.

The company plays an important role in the animal feed market by importing and distributing Soya Bean Meal and other animal feed ingredients to the small and medium scale self mixing poultry farmers.

The company's coconut expeller cake which is a by-product of copra milling is sold under the Adamjee's trade name as a premium quality feed for cattle farmers.
